I sent an email to help ediets. Because they offer so many options and truly customize their diets to your individual needs, eDiets could become overwhelming if you want everything laid out. I've had to hold for almost an hour every time I try to call. I signed up and had the service for one week. I wrote a letter and mailed it.

Very little upfront information and designed to make it as difficult as possible to cancel the program despite conscious inquiry. If the plan had been more flexible, as opposed to feeling like a trap, I would have consider continuing with ediet.

Customer service is awful and will do anything to keep from refunding money. What they don't tell you about their meal plans and shopping list is that the recipes don't work together so you have to buy an ingredient just so you can use a tablespoon of it and never need it again.

The meals don't work together and it will get VERY expensive to follow their recommended meal plans. I love this diet. And customer service is very good. E-dietscustomer service is horrible. I signed up and had the service for one week. I know when I signed up it said if for any reason I was not satisfied I would be refunded. The customer service reps, and supervisors refused to issue any type of refund. I looked at the website too and didn't get any response when I wanted to so I went to Marilyn's Plan and bought her book.

I absolutely love it. For the first two weeks I walked around with my jaw on the ground. I just couldn't believe I was on a diet and it was actually working. It is really easy too. At the time i was a college student living with my parents and had plenty of time to exercise no husband, no kids, no job, no problem I liked their convenience plan which was precooked meals you could buy from the grocery store Don't like a meal?

Don't like an exercise? It's easy and simple to use and you check in once a week by yourself in the privacy of your own home, not surrounded by other people so you can die of embarrasment when they see you gained a pound that week.

I love teh resources they have and the menus. They are very helpful and encouraging to me. But mostly, I like the fact that it's more private since weight is a private issue to me. I have enjoyed using ediets. I have even spoken to a live nutritionist to help me with my diet. I think I have finally found a diet that I can stick to.

It is a very motivating site. I've been on the Ediets weight loss plan for about 3 months now and it works great! The recipes are very easy to prepare, and it's actually saved me money on food - saving more than ediets costs per week! The support group feature is also great, as it's good to get tips and encouragement from fellow dieters. Definitely a satisfied customer. I had a terrible experience with customer service. I placed my order, then found that they would not be able to deliver on the regular Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, but instead would only deliver on Wednesday.

I requested to either have my order delivered on Tuesday or canceled. This was all communicate well over a week before shipping. They refused to make any modification, emphasizing that the "terms and conditions" state that no cancellations are permitted for the first order.! I had no prior notice of the change in the shipping schedule before I placed my order. It took two business days before they even responded to my email.

Supervisors were not available when I called and I was told I would receive a return call within 15 minutes, but instead close to closing hours, a voicemail message was left for me. Summer - Only 20 diets?

That's a pretty big variety for me: Anyway, eDiets has been great so far, and definitely worth the small weekly cost. I find that their recipe planning shopping list actually saves me money on groceries since I stick to it and don't buy more than I need. No more spoiled food in the fridge! I just got off the phone for the second time with Ediets. After 5 weeks of being on the meal delivery program, they stopped sending me the meals, yet continued to charge my card.

When I called customer service, I was told they never charged me, then charged me again and never sent the food. I finally told them to cancel my membership. I am still trying to get all the money refunded to me that they took and never provided me with food.

I was a member from until and I loved the recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists you could edit. They revamped the Website on Feb 12, and it still isn't working, nearly 2 months later!

The meal plans print in a teeny tiny font you can't see without reader glasses. The shopping list appeared, uneditable, and reappeared editable, but it disappeared again on Mar 12 and it hasn't come back yet. There is no one there in the live chat. If you email them, you get an auto-reply and then nothing.

I have emailed and called with poor satisfaction. I finally called to cancel and they said I had already cancelled in January! I am still being billed monthly. I wrote a letter and mailed it.

I hope they cancel me soon and this is over. I tried this diet for 4 weeks. Some weeks they sent the food late. Another week they just didn't send it at all.

They are impossible to reach by phone. I've had to hold for almost an hour every time I try to call. They said they were having technical difficulties, causing the mailing problems and that this is in turn impacting the phones. I don't really care. I signed up so I wouldn't have to think about my diet. And it looks new - must have launched a new site.

I purchased online Sunday, July 1, I called eDiets and was advised this was the purchase of another week food delivery. The young lady I spoke with, Colleen, advised, "We had staffing on the 4th of July holiday and you should have called yesterday to make a change. The representative then went on to pressure me about all the terms and conditions of the order, and again I advised her I did not sign up for automatic shipments.

Again, I turned down that offer as I advised I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue until I actually received my order and that was a deceptive business practice of making money via fees.

I requested a supervisor and after a lengthy hold, I was transferred to Michelle who offered the same advice. Finally, I requested a manager call back regarding the matter after some debate with Michelle who continued to insist that Colleen had informed me correctly. At that time, I had already decided not to put too much energy into the matter and to accept the fee after stating my problem. I was enraged all over again. She continued to add that once the clock hits 12pm they can no longer make adjustments per the IT department and she tried to override the system and was not able to.

When I continued to question Wendy about the outlandishness of her claim that she could do nothing only 19 minutes after the clock strikes twelve o'clock, she replied, "What would I gain from lying to you? When I replied that there was no way in hell that can be true, she advised that she would disconnect the call due to my use of profanity.

This company and its representatives are not only practicing deceptive business practices but they are unprofessional and I believe they are also deceptive in informing a customer that a manager can stop the billing of an order 19 minutes past 12pm for food that will not be shipped until next Thursday, July 12th. Wendy proceeded to add that I should have taken the offer at the time Michelle made it to me as that was well within the system limits. I've asked for a call back from another manager for whatever good that will do.

In closing, I pulled up eDiets' billing reviews and there are a ton of them out there. This company had good food reviews but the backdoor billing practices should be illegal.

I signed up for eDiets and found that FedEx would not deliver to my apartment door, only to the building door. I injured my back twice and therefore, wrote to cancel my account. I did this in plenty of time to prevent the next shipment. They shipped anyway and charged my account. When I called to complain, the woman simply repeated "we charge you endlessly". I actually wondered whether I was speaking to a person since the sentence was repeated regardless of what I said.

I signed up for month and have repeatedly tried to cancel. They are continuing to charge my credit card and refusing to cancel my account. Repeated emails and attempts to contact them have not work. I am in the process of sorting out my credit card statements. I am frustrated by how deceptive their website is and how hard it is to cancel an account.

There is a deliberate intent to cheat here. I signed up for a 7-day free trial. I canceled and eDiets continued to charge my credit card. They continued to push through charges after the card was canceled by my bank. I should have checked here for before buying online from this fraudulent organization. I could not pay bills for my chronic health condition because it took me time to get some of the funds returned to me by bank and also impacted my ability to buy gas for my car to get to work.

They failed to tell new members who wanted these services that there would be extra charges to use most of the site. I e-mailed them several times and they did respond, but when I asked for a refund, I got no response. I'm surprised because they are a big web-based company, but their integrity needs some work. I did not complete the process; however, there was not a "cancel" icon, so I just left the website without pressing the "submit" button to complete the transaction.

So I called them to cancel my subscription for their product and tell them I wanted my money back per their "money back guarantee". They said I had called after the expiration date. They told me I could not have it back after all.

I figured I would just have to eat it. I canceled the product, thinking it was over. When I started the program, they tell you that you can get all your money back if you do not use or like the services. I call them to cancel services 3 days after, the answer was that they have to charge me 4 weeks for the service even though I DID not use any of it.

The customer services rep. I do not think it's fair. Please if can look their website up and see for yourself. On April 19th, I registered online for a trial period with ediets. When I contacted ediets. This is something I was not made aware of and would not have agreed to. I also discovered that had I not contacted them about this, they would have continued to bill me on a monthly basis and may still do so, unless I cancel my debit card number, I just found out.

When I requested via email the account or invoice number for this transaction, I was told they would not email this to me and that I would have log into the account to get it, but I have already cancelled this account. I am an educated person and even I missed or failed to "see" this agreement they maintain was there on the date I signed up for the trial period.

I feel that these practices are deceptive and a scam to bilk consumers until they "discover" the real procedures this company uses, too late to recover the money stolen from them. This to me amounts to outright theft and this company is well aware of it - they just practice "legalized thievery".
